Last updated 3 November 2026. This is a developing story. Several platforms have not published their 2026 sale dates yet, and we will update the table below when they do.

The November sales season has started. Daraz Pakistan's homepage banner now shows its 11.11 sale running from 8pm on Tuesday 10 November to Saturday 21 November 2026, according to a check by Pakera on 1 November. In the Gulf, noon and Amazon.ae have not confirmed their 2026 dates, but last year both ran 11.11 deals around 7 to 12 November and their White Friday and Yellow Friday sales from 20 to 30 November. Black Friday itself falls on 27 November 2026.

For a shop owner, these four weeks usually decide the quarter. Order volume jumps, the courier queue gets longer, and every channel you sell on (Daraz, noon, Amazon, your own Shopify store, the counter in your shop) pulls from the same stock. We build POS, inventory and Shopify systems for retailers in Pakistan and the UAE, and the question we hear most in early November is simple: "Will my stock numbers still be right on day three of the sale?" This guide covers the confirmed and expected dates, the rules you need to follow in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Pakistan, and a prep checklist. Sources are at the end.

When is the 11.11 sale in 2026?

11.11 falls on Wednesday 11 November 2026. Daraz Pakistan's sale is shown as 10 November at 8pm to 21 November, based on the homepage banner Pakera checked on 1 November. noon and Amazon.ae have not announced 2026 dates. In 2025 their 11.11 deals ran from the evening of 7 November to 12 November.

Daraz Pakistan had not named its bank card partners as of Pakera's 1 November check, and we have not seen a formal press release with the dates. Treat the banner as the best signal for now and watch the Daraz Seller Center for campaign registration notices.

In the UAE and Saudi Arabia, 11.11 is a shorter event. Gulf News and Khaleej Times both reported that noon's 2025 sale ran from the evening of 7 November to 12 November. noon's own sale page gave 9 to 12 November. Arabian Business reported Amazon.ae's 2025 11.11 sale as 7 to 12 November. If the platforms keep that pattern, expect deals to open around 6 or 7 November 2026.

When are White Friday, Yellow Friday and Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November, the day after US Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday is 30 November. In the Gulf, the same event is sold as White Friday (Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa) and Yellow Friday (noon). Neither has confirmed 2026 dates. Both ran from 20 to 30 November in 2025.

Khaleej Times describes White Friday and Yellow Friday as local branding for the same Black Friday campaign, with Yellow Friday named after noon's logo. Amazon.ae announced its 2025 sale on X as running 20 to 30 November, with bank offers from ADCB, EIB, HSBC and ADIB. Gulf Business reported that noon's 2025 Yellow Friday ran for eleven days over the same dates, with advertised discounts up to 90 percent.

How big is the November sale season for sellers?

For most sellers in Pakistan, 11.11 is the largest single campaign of the year. Daraz said its 2025 11.11 was its best to date, with more than 48,000 sellers beating their sales from the previous year. These are company figures. We found no independent count of total orders or gross sales.

The same Daraz release, published by ProPakistani in December 2025, said brands saw a 700 percent rise in orders during short, time-limited deal windows, and that up to 2,300 sellers and brands ran Daraz Marketing Solutions ads, about 40 percent more than in 2024. Demand arrives in spikes at fixed hours (8pm launches, midnight flash deals), and those spikes are when stock counts go wrong.

In the Gulf, the pressure point is checkout. A Visa survey of 2,016 online shoppers across the GCC, published in June 2025 and covered by Khaleej Times, found that 37 percent were irritated by typing card details by hand and 40 percent named security as their top worry. 82 percent said they would shop online more often if one-click checkout were widely available. In a sale week, each extra checkout step loses orders.

What rules apply to running a sale in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Pakistan?

Saudi Arabia is the strictest market. Every store, including online stores, needs a discount licence from the Ministry of Commerce before it advertises a discount. In the UAE you need a valid trade or e-commerce licence to sell, and authorities tell shoppers to buy only from licensed sites. In Pakistan the main sale-season issue is how cash on delivery is taxed.

Saudi Arabia: get the discount licence first

The Ministry of Commerce issues discount licences through its online discounts service. Salla's help centre tells its merchants to get the licence before a sale starts and to show it on the store. Shoppers can scan the licence code to see the discount type, rate and duration, and stores must show the price before and after the discount. A Shopify store registered in Saudi Arabia needs the same licence.

UAE: licensed sellers and clear pricing

Khaleej Times reported that the Ministry of Economy urged shoppers during last year's sales to buy only from licensed e-commerce websites. If you sell from Dubai on Instagram, WhatsApp or your own site, you need a DET licence that covers online selling. Some emirates also require a discount permit for in-store sales, so check your emirate's rules if you run the same sale in a physical shop.

Pakistan: COD costs more than digital

Under the Finance Act 2025, as reported by TechJuice and summarised by tax advisers, online orders paid by card or bank transfer carry a 1 percent withholding at the payment intermediary, while cash on delivery collected by couriers carries 2 percent. That gap makes card, wallet and Raast payments cheaper for sellers, which is one reason stores offer a small prepaid discount during sales. Ask your tax adviser how the rates apply to you.

Which payment methods matter most during the sales?

In Pakistan, cash on delivery is still the default for many shoppers, so prepaid options need a reason: bank card discounts, wallet cashback or a lower price. In the UAE and Saudi Arabia, the main options are cards, Apple Pay and buy now pay later providers such as Tabby and Tamara, and the goal is fewer checkout steps.

For Pakistani Shopify stores, the practical question is which gateway can take cards, JazzCash, Easypaisa and Raast without failing under a launch-hour spike. We compared the options in our guide to Shopify payment gateways in Pakistan. Whatever you use, run a real test order this week, then another on the morning the sale opens.

For Gulf stores, check that saved cards, Apple Pay and your BNPL provider all appear at checkout on mobile, and that BNPL limits fit the larger baskets you expect.

How should sellers in Pakistan and the UAE prepare for 11.11 and White Friday?

Start with stock and payments, then marketing. Sync inventory across every channel, set a safety buffer, confirm your discount licence or permits, test checkout and payments under load, agree courier pickup times, and schedule price changes in advance instead of editing products by hand at midnight.

  1. Count your stock this week and fix the differences between your POS, your Shopify store and your marketplace listings before traffic rises.

  2. Decide on a buffer for each fast-moving item. If you have 50 units and sell on three channels, show 45 online so a late sync does not create oversold orders.

  3. Check how often your channels sync. A sync that runs every 30 minutes is fine in October and causes cancellations during an 8pm flash sale.

  4. In Saudi Arabia, apply for the Ministry of Commerce discount licence now. In the UAE, confirm your trade licence covers online selling and check your emirate's discount permit rules if you also discount in-store.

  5. Schedule discounts and price changes ahead of time. On Shopify, the Rollouts tool lets you plan Black Friday and Cyber Monday changes in advance, and partner agencies report it gained discount scheduling in early October 2026.

  6. Place a real paid order through each payment method on mobile, and a COD order, and follow each one to your back office and your courier booking.

  7. Agree pickup cut-off times and daily volumes with your courier before 10 November in Pakistan and 20 November in the Gulf.

  8. Set up order confirmation on WhatsApp for COD orders so you can cancel fake or duplicate orders before they ship.

  9. Write your return and exchange policy for the sale period and put it on the product page as well as the footer.

  10. Plan staff shifts around launch hours, and give one person the job of watching stock levels and cancellations every hour.

If your stock still lives in a spreadsheet that someone updates at the end of the day, this is the month it will hurt most. We wrote about signs a business has outgrown Excel, and overselling during a sale is near the top of that list.

Common mistakes we see during sale season

The same problems come up every November, and very few are about the discount itself.

  • Selling the same last units on Daraz, Shopify and in the shop at once, then cancelling orders and taking a seller rating hit.

  • Editing prices by hand at midnight and missing a variant, so one size sells at full price and another at a loss.

  • Running a Saudi sale without the discount licence because the store is "only online".

  • Launching a new payment gateway or theme in sale week, with no time to test.

  • Sending COD orders without confirmation, then paying return shipping on orders nobody meant to place.

  • Planning around last year's dates without checking the seller portal for this year's.

Key takeaways

  • Daraz Pakistan's 11.11 is shown as 10 November (8pm) to 21 November 2026, based on its homepage banner.

  • noon and Amazon.ae have not confirmed 2026 dates. Last year 11.11 ran around 7 to 12 November and White Friday and Yellow Friday ran 20 to 30 November.

  • Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is 30 November.

  • Saudi stores, online ones included, need a Ministry of Commerce discount licence before advertising a sale.

  • In Pakistan, COD orders carry a higher withholding rate than digital payments, which makes prepaid offers worth testing.

  • Most sale-season losses come from stock that is out of sync across channels, so fix inventory before you plan discounts.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Daraz 11.11 sale start in 2026?

The Daraz Pakistan homepage banner shows the sale starting at 8pm on 10 November 2026 and ending on 21 November, according to Pakera's check on 1 November.

When is White Friday 2026 in the UAE?

The anchor date is Friday 27 November 2026. Amazon.ae has not announced its sale window yet. In 2025 it ran from 20 to 30 November, so a similar window is likely.

When is noon Yellow Friday 2026?

noon has not confirmed it. The 2025 Yellow Friday ran from 20 to 30 November. Coupon sites listing 2026 dates are guessing.

Is White Friday the same as Black Friday?

Yes. White Friday is Amazon's name for Black Friday in the Middle East, and Yellow Friday is noon's. They run over the same late-November period.

Do I need a licence to run a discount in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Physical and online stores need a discount licence from the Ministry of Commerce before advertising a sale, and the licence details must be visible to shoppers.

How do I stop overselling during 11.11 on Daraz and Shopify?

Connect your marketplace listings, Shopify store and POS to one stock count, sync as close to real time as possible, and hold a small buffer on fast-moving items so a delayed update does not create orders you cannot fill.

Should I offer a discount for prepaid orders in Pakistan?

Many stores do, because COD orders carry a higher withholding rate and more returns. Test a small prepaid discount on one product line first and check the effect on your margins with your accountant.
